Terra Incognita means "The Unexplored Land." While many people travel to the lands of the Bible, few understand how the land provides a doorway to help Bible readers understand how to read their Bible. The lands remain unexplored. For over twenty years, I have traveled throughout the lands of the Bible--Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, and Italy--and guided travelers to these lands. Along the way I have discovered the unique role such onsite travel and learning can play in helping people to know how to read, study, and engage the Bible. Here I share things I have learned from traveling the lands of the Bible, information on sites, insights from archaeology into the biblical world, and suggestions for the traveler.
